Ingredients

  • 1 sausage pack
  • 2 cups of rice flour
  • 1/4 xanthan gum teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon salt tea
  • Seasonings of your choice (pepper, oregano, fine herbs, garlic powder.. I used only pepper)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of animal milk or plant milk (I used homemade rice milk)
  • Frying oil (I used 1 bottle and a half but it depends on the size of the pot)

Method of preparation

cook the sausages (Don't forget to always check the labels to make sure they are gluten and lactose free.), despise the cooking water, wash and dry them with a paper towel or let them dry naturally while you prepare the dough. when they are dry, skewer each sausage on a barbecue stick.

To prepare gluten-free and lactose-free corn dog dough

  • mix the flour, xanthan Gum, will, spices, eggs and milk. hit well (with a spoon or, no need for mixer) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained..
  • Transfer the dough to a tall glass.
  • Take a sausage on a stick and put it in the cup with dough so that it involves all the sausage.

Extra tips on gluten-free and lactose-free corn dog recipe

  • The frying pan must be deep otherwise half of the corn dog may stick out..
  • If you are not lactose intolerant and want to add cheese in the recipe, put a slice of mozzarella around the sausage and leave it in the freezer for 1 hour. Then pass the dough in the sausage and fry.
  • Kids love this recipe! serve with ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise as side dishes.
  • It's basically a hot dog on a stick.
  • With the leftover dough you can still enjoy and make a dessert. I used pieces of guava as a filling but it can be banana or some other sweet of your choice. Wrap the candy with the dough and fry. Basically a fried lollipop. Look at the photo below.
