Delicious gluten-free and dairy-free burger bread to eat that lanchão at the weekend. This is a simple recipe with easy to find ingredients..
For a long time I bought gluten-free hamburger buns in health food stores for an absurd price and that always disappointed me in taste and texture.. So I thought, why not make my own bread and leave it frozen so when you want to eat it, it's ready?
Ingredients
- 260g mix of gluten-free flours (I used Beladri)
- 1/2 teaspoon of dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 this
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup warm water for yeast + 1/3 cup to add to the dough
- gem for brushing (optional)
- sesame to sprinkle (optional)
If you're wondering which burger I used to assemble the snack in the photo, it was Frimesa's because it doesn't contain gluten or milk (soy allergy care, because it contains).
Method of preparation
- In a bowl add the sugar, 1/4 of warm water and dry yeast. Stir well and set aside to use later..
- in another container, could be the mixer bowl, add the gluten-free flour mix, instant yeast and salt. Stir well.
- Add to dry ingredients, the egg, oil, apple cider vinegar and the rest of the water (1/3 cup).
- Mix lightly with a spoon and hit the mixer around 5 minutes at medium speed.
- Oil your hands and with the help of a spoon, take the desired amount of dough to make the bread and shape it with your hands gently. The best way to shape it is to throw the dough from one hand to the other until it's very smooth..
- Place the already molded breads in a greased shape with oil..
- Pass the yolk and sprinkle sesame on top (optional).
- Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top with the back of an oiled spoon. 1 hour (I usually put it inside the microwave with a glass of hot water to help on the colder days.. If it's hot I just put it in the microwave or another closed place with a dish towel on top to protect it.).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes not maximum (It's always good to keep an eye on it if it's not burning or getting too dark on top, After all, each oven reacts in a different way.)
- Wait for it to cool and you can consume it now..
Tips for making a gluten-free and dairy-free hamburger bun recipe work
♦ well, this recipe is very simple, the greatest care that must be taken is when baking, because if it is overcooked, the bread will be hard and difficult to eat when assembling the snack.
♦ I haven't tried making it with another gluten-free flour mix, however I wouldn't recommend using Urbano's because I know it leaves a creamier texture in the dough and probably won't be able to model it.
♦ This bread usually rises close to the end of the 60 minutes, so don't be alarmed if in the first half hour he doesn't move.
