The gluten-free and vegan prestige ice cream recipe is without a doubt the easiest to make. get creamy, sweet and delicious for hot days.
Ingredients to make ice cream
- 200ml coconut milk
- 1 Cup of sugar
- 1∕3 cup shredded coconut
- 1∕2 cup melted vegan chocolate (I used the brand Cacaudrop drops 54%, because I prefer the sweetest but also have the 72%)
Prestige ice cream preparation
- Leave the coconut milk for a few hours in the fridge. (1 a 2 hours)
- in a basin, hit the hand, in the mixer or in the blender, coconut milk and sugar. I prefer to beat in the mixer because I think it gets creamier.
- Add the grated coconut and stir.. (I used a very large grated coconut bought in bulk., so I think it tastes better)
- Pour the mixture into a container that can be frozen..
- Place the melted chocolate on top and spread lightly with a spatula..
- Leave in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, sprinkle more grated coconut on top..

- The recipe is very sweet., if you don't like sweets so luscious, I suggest cutting the sugar in half.
- If you want, can use some other plant milk to make the base, anyway the grated coconut already gives a good coconut taste.
- depending on the freezer, 4 hours will still be little. I left it overnight and then I got the perfect texture I was waiting for.
- The cool thing about this recipe is that it doesn't “stone” when it goes to the freezer because the coconut milk helps to give a creamier texture
